Itinerary

Day 1 — Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley

Depart from Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop at the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a filming site for many Hollywood movies. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” then travel through the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a local riad or hotel.

Day 2 — Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, head to Todra Gorges, where you’ll walk through its towering cliffs and enjoy stunning scenery. Continue toward the Sahara Desert, passing through Tinghir and Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga for a sunset camel trek into the dunes. Enjoy dinner and Berber music at your desert camp, sleeping under the stars.

Day 3 — Merzouga → Midelt → Ifrane → Fez

Wake early to admire the sunrise over the golden dunes. After breakfast, depart for Fez via Errachidia, Ziz Valley, and Midelt, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Arrive in Fez by evening, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day desert journey.
