Itinerary
Day 1 — Fez → Ifrane → Midelt → Merzouga Desert
Depart from Fez in the morning and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its European architecture, and continue through Azrou’s cedar forest to see wild Barbary monkeys. Pass through Midelt and the scenic Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek across the dunes at sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp with dinner and Berber music.
Day 2 — Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, continue toward Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most beautiful natural sites. Enjoy free time to walk through the towering cliffs before heading to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay in a local riad or hotel.
Day 3 — Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
After breakfast, travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert and the home of famous film studios. Visit the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed fortress. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech by evening, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
