Itinerary
Day 1 — Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Depart from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for breathtaking views and traditional Berber villages. Visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic film location. Continue to Ouarzazate, then follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the beautiful Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or guesthouse.
Day 2 — Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, drive through the spectacular Todra Gorges, a paradise for hikers and photographers. Continue toward Erfoud and reach Merzouga, where your camel awaits for a sunset trek across the dunes. Enjoy dinner and Berber music under the stars in a traditional desert camp.
Day 3 — Merzouga → Midelt → Azrou → Fez
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, leave the desert behind and travel north through Errachidia and the Ziz Valley. Stop in Midelt for lunch before crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the cedar forest of Azrou and see the Barbary monkeys before arriving in Fez in the evening, marking the end of your adventure.
