Begin your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” and Azrou to see the cedar forest and wild monkeys. Continue through the Ziz Valley to reach the desert town of Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride into the dunes and spend the night in a luxury desert camp, where you’ll savor traditional Moroccan cuisine and local music under the stars.

Day 2 — Merzouga Desert Exploration

Wake up early for an unforgettable sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert villages and visit Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music. You’ll also see nomadic families and enjoy tea with them to learn about their way of life. Spend a relaxing evening back at your camp or hotel near the dunes.

Day 3 — Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley

Depart the desert after breakfast toward the Todra Gorges, famous for their dramatic cliffs and river canyon. Walk between the towering rocks and enjoy free time for lunch before continuing to the Dades Valley, where you’ll admire its rock formations and traditional kasbahs. Dinner and overnight stay in a local riad or guesthouse.

Day 4 — Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech

After breakfast, travel along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Ouarzazate, the Moroccan “Hollywood.” Visit the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in many famous movies.
