Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge
Pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop to explore the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site famous for its appearance in many films. Continue toward Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” before passing through the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight stay in a local riad or hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, head toward the spectacular Todra Gorges for a short walk along the cliffs. Continue your journey through Tinghir and Erfoud until you reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi and arrive at your desert camp. Experience a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and a peaceful night under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake early to admire the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga village. Begin your drive back through Alnif, Ouarzazate, and the Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by evening, concluding your unforgettable desert journey.
