Itinerary
Day 1 — Tangier → Tetouan → Chefchaouen
Pick-up from your accommodation in Tangier. Visit Tetouan briefly before heading to Chefchaouen, the picturesque blue city. Explore its medina, artisan shops, and panoramic viewpoints. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2 — Chefchaouen → Fes
Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou. Arrive in Fes for a guided tour of the ancient medina. Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 3 — Fes → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Erfoud
Depart Fes, traveling through scenic mountain routes to Midelt, then continue via the Ziz Valley to Erfoud. Stop at traditional Berber villages for photos and local experiences. Overnight in Erfoud.
Day 4 — Erfoud → Merzouga Desert
Head toward the Sahara Desert, arriving in Merzouga. Enjoy a sunset camel trek across the dunes and spend the night in a traditional desert camp with dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Day 5 — Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Gorge
Wake early for a sunrise camel ride over the golden dunes. Return to Merzouga, then drive through Rissani to the Todra Gorges and continue to Dades Gorge. Overnight in a hotel or riad in Dades.
Day 6 — Dades Gorge → Ouarzazate → Valley of Roses → Skoura
Travel to Ouarzazate, exploring the Valley of Roses and historic kasbahs. Continue to Skoura for overnight in a comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 7 — Skoura → Tizi n’Tichka Pass → Marrakech
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop for panoramic views and photography. Arrive in Marrakech and enjoy your evening exploring the city. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8 — Marrakech Cultural Exploration
Spend the day exploring Marrakech, including the medina, souks, and historic sites. End your 8-day Moroccan adventure in the vibrant city.
