Day 1 — Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley

Depart from Marrakech and head toward the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the historic Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed fortress famous for its appearances in Hollywood films. Continue to Ouarzazate, then travel through the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a local riad.

Day 2 — Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, drive through the Todra Gorges, Morocco’s most impressive canyon, and explore its narrow rock passages. Continue your journey to Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara. Take a camel ride through the dunes and enjoy a magical sunset. Spend the night in a Berber desert camp with music and traditional dinner under the stars.

Day 3 — Merzouga → Erfoud → Midelt

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, then enjoy breakfast in the camp. Ride back to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, and begin your drive north through Erfoud, known for its fossils and date palms. Pass through desert landscapes and Berber villages before reaching Midelt, where you’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse between the mountains.

Day 4 — Midelt → Azrou → Ifrane → Fez

After breakfast, continue your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou’s cedar forest to meet the Barbary monkeys, then visit Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its clean streets and alpine-style houses.
